In short
We process personal data when you contact us yourself — by phone, e-mail or in person — and only as far as needed to reply and prepare a quote. Visitor statistics (Google Analytics) are switched on only if you agree; without your consent this website sets no cookies and loads nothing from third-party servers unless you choose to (for example, by starting a video).

What we process and why
Phone and e-mail enquiries
When you contact us, we process the information you give us: your name, phone number, e-mail address, the content of your message and details and photos of your vehicle. We use it to answer your enquiry, prepare a design proposal and quote and, if we reach an agreement, to carry out the work. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept for no longer than two years. Data related to completed work and invoices are kept for as long as accounting and tax regulations require.
Server logs
Like any other, the server hosting this website records technical access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type). This data is used solely for the security and proper functioning of the website, is not combined with other data and is deleted after a limited period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in website security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
If you choose “Accept” on the bar at the bottom of the page, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). It tells us which pages are read, what devices and countries visitors come from, and how many of them call or e-mail us through the website. Google sets cookies (_ga, _ga_…) for up to two years. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses; we have switched off Google signals and ad personalisation, and keep the data for 14 months. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you choose “Decline” or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Other cookies and external services
Apart from that, we use no cookies, advertising networks or embedded third-party content. Your choice on the bar is remembered only in your browser. Fonts, images and the map are loaded from our own server. Links to Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram open those services only when you click them. The YouTube video (in privacy-enhanced mode, youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when you start it. From then on, those services’ privacy policies apply.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for their own purposes. Only the service providers we rely on (web and e-mail hosting, accounting and, with your consent, Google for visitor statistics) may have access to it, and only to the extent needed for their service.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and to object to processing. Send your request to info@pol-ri.hr — we will reply within one month.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.
